Every year the Dance School puts on a show at The Palace Theatre, Mansfield. The show runs from Tuesday to Saturday the week before Easter, with rehearsals at the Theatre on the preceding Sunday and Monday.

Showtime 2008

The 2008 show was a great success and thanks to everyone who took part. We raised a record amount for charity again this year so thanks again for your support. If you want to see just what you missed out on take a look at our gallery from this years show.

Showtime 2009

The dates for next year's show are Sunday 5th April to Saturday 11th April 2009. Check the news section regularly for all the information you'll need as the show approaches.

General

As you can see from the pictures, a lot of effort goes into the show each year, and not just from the students! Many of the parents help with designing and building sets, costume making and much more. Dont worry if you haven't got any sewing experience as we do have a resident costume maker Karen Wood who can do it for you. If you do want to have a go then there is a weekly sewing club, which runs from November right up to the show. Here like minded parents can get together and help each other out. Karen is also on hand to add her experience when things get really tough!

The proceeds from the sale of programmes and raffle tickets during show nights is donated to local good causes, and we are currently seeking suggestions as to what this year's beneficiary should be. We are also looking for sponsorship and advertisement for the programme to cover printing costs.
